Coronavirus (Covid 19) Guest Information

If we have to cancel your booking due to Coronavirus then you will receive a full refund. If there are UK Government Covid-19 restrictions meaning that you are legally not allowed to travel then you will receive a full refund less any bank charges we have incurred. All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged.

We are taking extra precautions to ensure that Cherry Tree Cottage is a safe, virus free environment for your stay.
The cottage is an individual unit with no shared guest facilities.
Our cleaning routine is usually intensive, but in addition we have added a Covid-19 specific checklist. Please rest assured that included in this system, all surfaces and touch points are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected; all bedding, throws and covers are removed and replaced. We may also have temporarily removed some non-essential high-touch items such as books and games.
We use a non-contact pre-arrival and checkout procedure. Detailed information and instruction guides are provided in the cottage, and we are easily contactable by phone.
In the unlikely event of a maintenance call-out, we will aim to make this a non-contact visit. Alternatively, PPE and social distancing will be used.
Hand sanitiser & anti-bacterial soap are readily available within the cottage.

    Your Responsibility

In line with government advice, if you start to develop symptoms of the coronavirus (COVID-19) before your holiday, stay at home and do not travel. Please follow NHS advice.

If you display signs of the virus during your stay, you must inform us immediately, self-isolate to minimise any risk of transmission and request a test. If the virus is confirmed, you should return home if you reasonably can.
If an extended stay at the cottage is necessary, we would have to charge for this in order to refund other guest bookings.

We strongly advise you take out holiday insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances including enhanced Covid-19 cover.
